The EFA's fishing
Most people looking at this site are interested in the fishing the EFA has and we have therefore assembled the following information, for members and non-members alike:
- a summary of the water we have the right to fish
- information on river conditions and levels that offer the best fishing
- an analysis of annual catches , going back over 20 years
- the rules that apply when fishing EFA waters
- information on what to do if you see pollution, crayfish, poaching or unusual numbers of diseased fish
- some information designed to promote safe fishing
- some fishing tips for our, often murky, river
- an outline of our position on some of the wider community issues that effect our fishing
- and a link to help you obtain a rod licence before you fish our waters

Work Party - our first work party starts at Beggar's Bridge at 09.00 Saturday 2 March, if you are interested in removing some of those branches that ruin your fishing on the Rough! Please bring your own kit but pl note, NO CHAINSAWS
Tactics and Familiarisation days - this year we are combining the tactics and familiarisation days (there are few new members) - meet at Beggar's Bridge at 09.30 Saturday 18 May if interested
Glaisdale Angling Club water - we no longer have any right to fish their water - we can only fish Mill Wood itself, but we can walk down the GAC bank to get to Mill Wood
